Get Ready for Baby at Home

Check out some key things to get and to do before you go to the hospital. Make sure you have…

  • A safe place for your baby to sleep.

  • Some clothes for your baby. Remember, your baby will grow fast so it is good to buy fewer things and get more as your baby grows. Types of clothes you may need: onesies, undershirts, socks, sweaters, infant hats, and more.

  • Swaddling blankets

  • Newborn-size diapers and baby wipes.

  • Nail file. Babies need special-sized nail files for filing their nails.

  • Infant tub, baby wash, and baby bath towels.

  • Baby bottles. How do you and mom plan to feed your baby?
