1-Week Doctor Visit

At your baby’s first doctor’s visit, they may ask about and/or provide information about: 

  • Taking care of your baby, your family, and yourself.

  • Feeding your baby and watching them grow.

  • Caring for and protecting your baby.

  • Keeping your baby safe at home and in the car.

  • Promoting mom's health and recovery.​

Women, Infant, and Children’s Program (WIC). Provides supplemental nutrition for women, infants, and children under the age of 5. Find a location near you here.​​​​​

Pathways.org. Provides educational courses and brochures supported by American Academy of Pediatrics findings to help parents track their baby’s development. Find online courses here or sign up for emails here.  

Be sure your baby gets their needed vaccines (shots) to protect them from infections. Learn more here.
